A reminder of Asia. A place to put cars. A momentary glimpse of the tropics. Flowing water where water ought to be. Generous accommodation for existing native plants. These elements and more had to be spun together into a garden that is a whole fabric. Steep slopes everywhere and powerful south winds added dimensions imposed by the site itself.
